Come and Celebrate The Queens Jubilee with us at the Strand Shopping Centre!

On Friday 3rd June we are joining with other charities and organisations in The Strand Shopping Centre to celebrate the Queens Jubilee. We will have the giant board games out and the castle will be open for tours and the escape rooms! There will also be Mad Hatter performances, live music other crafts and activities, and an all age Kings and Queens themed fancy dress competition! It is set to be a whole lot of fun for all the family! Celebrations run from 12pm until 3pm and we advise booking your slot in the escape room in advance!

TWO Cathedrals’ Pentecost walk and Jubilee Party

As if that wasn’t enough, the City’s two Cathedrals are hosting a combined Jubilee and Pentecost celebration starting with worship on the steps of the Catholic Cathedral and walking together from there, along Hope Street, in a show of unity, to the Anglican Cathedral where there will be another worship celebration followed by a big picnic and street party inside the cathedral!  We will be joining in the fun, bringing performances from local choirs, our giant board games and The Giant Puppets, specially dressed for Pentecost! If you would like to be a part of the full event, join us at 3pm at the Metropolitan Cathedral. We will the walk from there to the Anglican Cathedral for a worship celebration beginning at 3:45pm… or when the walkers arrive! ‘The Big Picnic and Street Party’ begin at 4pm at the Anglican Cathedral!
