LIVERPOOL PASSION POSTPONED

Following government guidelines and advice we have taken the decision to postpone Liverpool Passion until 2022, we are very much looking forward to bringing you a fantastic production when we can. There will be a lot more events between then and now so watch this space to find out what we are doing in this time.

In living memory there has never been a large outdoor Passion play in Liverpool city centre we are going to change that. In Another Place who are known for the award winning Alice Experience and Narnia Experience in St George’s Hall are now bringing to Liverpool a live retelling of the Easter story performed by Liverpool People for Liverpool People. We will be joining the Wintershall initiative to have this same passion play performed across the country, they have been doing the production for 9 years in Trafalgar Square, London and we are delighted to be producing it in Liverpool.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: “The Passion of Jesus has captivated

Londoners and visitors to the capital for nearly a decade by bringing the story of Easter to life in Trafalgar Square. With thousands gathering on Good Friday to witness the telling of the trial, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, The Passion of Jesus is a perfect example of how London is open to people from every religion, background and belief.”

We believe the same will be true for Liverpool as we captivate the audience and show once again that Liverpool is a city to be proud of. If you’d like to know more visit
