Step Through the Wardrobe as The Narnia Experience Comes to Bootle for the first time!

This October and November, audiences are invited to leave the ordinary world behind and journey into a magical forest as The Narnia Experience arrives at the Strand Shopping Centre.

Presented by In Another Place, this immersive walk-through theatrical production runs from 17 October to 7 November and brings C.S. Lewis’ beloved story The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to life.

The Narnia Experience places audiences directly inside the story. Guided through a wintery forest in the land of Narnia, visitors meet characters including Mr Tumnus, Mrs Beaver and the White Witch.

Audience members can choose between two distinct trails — following either Lucy’s journey or Edmund’s path through Narnia. Each route reveals different scenes and perspectives from the classic tale, meaning the only way to experience the full story is to visit twice.

The original experience debuted in 2009 at Old Christ Church in Waterloo, Liverpool, before being invited to the iconic St George's Hall in 2011 and again in 2013. The production most recently returned in February 2017. Following the success of The Little Narnia Experience at the Strand Shopping Centre, the company is now delighted to bring the full-scale experience to Bootle for the very first time.
