Weekly Activities

Every week we run a number of workshops and other activities that are open to the public. Our workshops provide an opportunity to get involved behind the scenes, creating props, costumes, scenery and backdrops; developing acting skills and rehearsing for upcoming events. Tuesdays

Cardboard Workshop
Description: The Cardboard Workshop uses cardboard, papier-mâché and other upcycled materials to make props, scenery and other items for upcoming productions and events!
Times: Tuesday & Thursday, 10am - 12pm & 1pm - 3pm
Location: In Another Place Unit (Bootle Strand)
Price: Free (Donations Welcome)

Sewing Workshop
Description: The Sewing Workshop creates costumes, backdrops and all sorts of other items out of donated materials - Come and learn to sew, whatever your ability!
Times: Tuesday & Thursday, 10am - 12pm & 1pm - 3pm

Drama Workshop
Description: Learn drama and performance skills as we prepare for our upcoming shows and events
Times: Tuesdays 3pm - 4:30pm
Location: The Castle (Bootle Strand)
Price: Free (Donations Welcome)

Wednesdays

Music Zone
Description: Entry level lesons to get you started on Guitar, Keyboard or Ukulele
Times: Wednesday 2pm - 5pm (Pre booked lessons only)
Location: In Another Place Unit (Bootle Strand)
Price: £5 for a 30 minute joint lesson

Gospel Choir
Description: The In Another Place Gospel Choir has over 120 members with 40-60 attending rehearsals each week, including several new members. Open to all abilities.
Times: Wednesdays 7pm - 8pm
Location: Moor Lane Methodist Church, Moor Lane, Crosby
Price: £3 per week (first week free)

Thursdays

Reflection Zone
Description: 'Taste and see that God is Good' - A time to discover who God is and experience his love & presence for those who want to find out more
Times: Thursday 3pm - 4:45pm
Location: Meet At The In Another Place Unit (Bootle Strand)
Price: Free

Bootle Strand Choir
Description: A free Community Choir based in Bootle Strand open to all abilities
Times: Thursdays 4pm - 5pm
