'The Shaping of Liverpool' is just around the corner and Bootle is been abuzz with everything from Dockers to Diddymen, Pensioners to Priests!

Our absolutely brilliant and incredibly talented cast have been spending time in the hot sun rehearsing so they can put on the best performance for you, your family and all your friends!

"The Shaping of Liverpool” is a vibrant exploration, filled with acting, dance and songs, of the areas evolution from a small fishing village to an international port and highlights the untold stories of those who have shaped its unique and beautiful history.

Join us at Salt + Tar, Bootle’s newest outdoor performance space (nestled between The Strand Shopping Centre and The Canal) on Saturday 3rd of August at either 12pm, 2pm or 4pm for one of our 3 FREE performances. Find Salt and Tar by following the stickers on the floor from Bootle New Strand Train Station or the bus stops on Stanley Road - it's the perfect place for catch-ups, funs and laid-back vibes. Parking is also available at the Strand Shopping Centre or the council car park by the leisure centre.

The day will also include a selection of vintage games, workshops and entertainment from days gone by for all the family, additional performances from various talented local musicians and lots of delicious food and drink at reasonable prices.
